New Delhi as you call it, one of the finest places of India has become A home to UPSC aspirants. It is like a battle ground for around 40000 graduated young minds who join every year to crack the prestigious civil services exam. Over the last 20 or 30 years places like old Rajinder Nagar in Central Delhi and Mukherjee Nagar in North Delhi have evolved as a prominent places for UPSC preparation. My focus will be on Mukherjee Nagar as how this center behaves with fresher’s and off-course with old students.

3 Inspirational stories of civil servants which an IAS aspirant must know.
When the river Brahmaputra enters in India from china, its path expands and slows down in Assam. On the bank of it there is a district named as Jorhat. Every morning at about four am, a lady wakes up and goes for jogging of about 12 km. However, people don't really call it as a jogging as some forty to fifty policemen travel with her on the bicycle. She runs and they follow mainly because she wants every policeman of her district to become a fit parson.
The last inspirational story
The story which I am going to tell has given inspiration to many people. You might have heard about KAIZEN theory of Robin Sharma. In his book 'The Monk who sold his Ferrari', he taught about habit forming way. At the same time you might have heard about fear of success theory given by Paulo Coelho. However, the story which I am going to tell is the one of the most awesome and amazing stories.
Robin sharma in his book mainly taught about rule of 21, in which he explains that any habit can be form if we do that thing continuously for 21 days. The great man Coelho taught about how fear of success is the only difference between a ordinary and extraordinary man. There is no doubt that these two theories have inspired generations. However, there is problem with these two theories and that is after a small interval of time we just forget them. But my story will be unforgettable in whole life.
Once upon a time, there was a team of men from circus who were searching for a baby elephant, so that he could be brought for performing various acts. After long search and hunt they captured a two year old elephant. The very same day they brought him in their circus. He was then tied by Iron chain in a small portion.
On the very first day elephant tried hard to escape from the the chain. He used all the force which he could gather from small but powerful legs. Throughout the day he tried to escape but the chain was so strong that it was impossible to break it. On the second day he repeated all his efforts and tried even harder to break it but again he was unable to do it. Similar thing happened on third and fourth day. As the week progressed his power increased but still he was not able to break it. After trying the same schedule continuously for a month he finally gave up.
After a year or so elephant became master in all the circus entertainment shows. He became grown up and performed various jobs such as pushing the car and lifting the wooden planks. His power was so strong that he could even pull a line of three trucks. However, whenever he was tied to that chain, which became small compared to his size, he never tried to escape. There was self assumption in his mind that he can't break it similar to his previous attempts. So even if he could break that chain with a simple pull, he never tried it.
Human nature is same as that of elephant it never tries to break away from the shackles of assumptions. A person never tries to break assumptions based on childhood or past incidences. Though he becomes strong to face new challenges and is capable of turning fortunes, he never tries to step forward in a bold way. His past always hunts him, the fear of failure based on previous incidences never empower him to accept the fact even if he have become strong to face them.
However, there were men in world who stood for their vision irrespective of their past. After loosing every small election, Linkon finally became the president of U.S.A. After trying ten hard years of continuous work, Alexander Fleming finally discovered Penicillin When question was ahead as how to kill Hitler so that Germany could be rescued, Hitler's own commander Staffenberg was sure that he can do it. He did not think of his loyalty to Hitler as he was doing it for his motherland. Unfortunately mission Valkyrie to kill Hitler failed but till date Staffenberg is in the list of world's brave souls.
13 publishers rejected the Harry Potter work of J.K Rolling but she did not allowed her 13 failure attempts to haunt her future. It's just a question of how we allow the influence of negative people in our own life. People will criticize as some of them are born to criticize. People will laugh at you for your mistakes since they are jealous of your work. Let the influence of these non-performing minds should not overpower the creativity of your mind. Let's be bold and face challenges which life puts ahead. That's is the onlyt way how we evolve.
